CPR Training
Byceylonta
On Friday, November 1, 2025, we will be hosting the second CPR Training Session, taking place at Mt Zion Baptist Church. The more people trained in CPR means a higher chance that someone nearby can act quickly during a cardiac emergency —this may include assisting a family member, friend or colleague before emergency services arrive. This can double or even triple survival rates in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. CPR training builds confidence and a sense of responsibility in individuals. People feel more capable and willing to step in and help during emergencies, creating a stronger, more resilient community. Beyond CPR techniques, sessions often educate participants about recognizing heart attack symptoms, using AEDs, and maintaining heart health. This can lead to earlier intervention and better long-term health outcomes across the Madison community.
