Community

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic brought national attention to the deep-rooted racial disparities affecting marginalized communities. In Madison, addressing these disparities became critical—not only for the health and prosperity of communities of color, but for the collective well-being of the city as a whole. As Madison continues to grow into a more diverse city, it is essential to ensure that all residents, regardless of race or ethnicity, have equitable opportunities to thrive. Initiatives such as the Male Youth Summit, Next Level Park St. Music & Community Fest, the Health & Wealth Conference, and the Fall Gospel Fest exemplify the type of community-driven efforts that align with broader organizational goals to reverse the inequities made evident during the pandemic.

As a result of positioning ourselves to be able to continue serving marginalized communities with quality programming, we collaborate with organizations who work to lift these communities in meaningful ways as well.
